ROOM DESCRIPTIONS

Of the 31 rooms Mary’s Boon has to offer, we have a variety of room types to choose from.  In confirming all reservations Mary’s Boon Resort guarantees room type only and not room number.  The maximum number of guests each room type can accommodate is indicated in parentheses behind the category name.

Studios

MINI (2) - Perfect for the budget conscious traveler, the Mini Studios are located at the back of the property or in the garden.  This room type is the smallest and most economical we have to offer.  It has a double bed and a basic kitchen facility.

           

LOWER LOBBY (2) – Great for in-transit guests, this budget accommodation offers a spacious room with a king size bed and kitchenette.  These studios open onto the basement lobby of the main building, and have no view.

 

LOWER GARDEN (2) - Two roomy studios leading off the garden and downstairs comprise this category, and offer a king size bed and a kitchenette.  They have no view.

 

GARDEN (2) - On ground floor, in the garden, these studios provide comfortable accommodations for two, at a moderate price, and have a king size bed and kitchenette

 

BEACHFRONT (2) - A popular choice, the Beachfront Studios are located either on ground or first floor, with king four poster beds and kitchenettes.   They lead onto an adjoining gingerbread adorned verandah, and have beach and sea views.

 

DELUXE BEACHFRONT (2) - In the most desired position on the property, these units are at ground level opening onto the beach.  They offer king size beds and kitchenettes and have covered patios for al fresco dining.

 

DELUXE BEACHFRONT LOFT(4) - A “one-of-a kind room”, this unit accommodates two to four persons in an open-plan lofted studio which opens onto the beach.  At ground level there is a king size bed.  Upstairs in the loft, which is accessed via a spiral wrought iron stairwell, there are two comfortable single beds overlooking the studio below.  There is also a covered patio for shade.

 

Suites

GARDEN ONE BEDROOM (2*) - Set back on the property, this unit  comprises a studio with a king size bed, and a second room with a dinette, living room with two single sofa beds  and a full kitchen which sports a stove and fridge freezer.  Four guests may be accommodated in this unit for an additional fee of $35 per extra person, per night.

 

DELUXE ONE BEDROOM (2*) - These spacious units have a separate bedroom with a king size bed, a living room with a full kitchen and a bar counter or dinette.  Position is sought after, the units being on ground level and opening onto the beach.  An additional two guests may be accommodated using the pullout couch in the living room at the extra person supplement of $35 per person per night.

 

LOWER GARDEN TWO BEDROOM (4) - This room offers economical and comfortable accommodation for a family of four in a studio with king size bed and kitchenette, and a second bedroom with a double bed.  The unit is downstairs, leading off the garden, and has no view although windows set high in the walls allow for a glimpse of the beach.

 

GARDEN TWO BEDROOM (6) - In spacious family accommodation, the Garden Two Bedroom unit has a king size bed in the master bedroom, a queen size bed in the second bedroom, a living room with two sofa beds, a dinette and a full kitchen.  Although located in the garden, this unit is only a few feet further away from the beach than the beachfront units themselves.

 

DELUXE BEACHFRONT TWO BEDROOM (4) - Opening right onto the beach, this accommodation type is made up of two lockout studios, each with a king size bed.  The beachside studio has a kitchenette.  The second studio has a bar fridge, coffee maker, and microwave.  There is an inter-connecting door between the studios for added privacy.  This room type can be reserved with either one or two bathrooms (see price change under ROOM RATES)
