St. Maarten hotels

Mary's Boon received this email on 11/04/01:

"I have been coming to St. Maarten for thirty years and finally, three years ago, I stayed at Mary's Boon for the first time. IMHO, it is one of the nicest hotels on the island. Mark and Karla Cleveland are true innkeepers and go out of their way to accommodate their guests and make them comfortable.

The dining room at the Boon has always been excellent so no need to add that. The beach is right there at your door step and is quiet, undisturbed beach - certainly not an Orient Beach type location - if that's what you're looking for the Boon is not for you. But if you're looking for a quaint island retreat, GO FOR IT.

You will be happy to be at Mary's Boon and rest assured, the airport is more of an attraction than an irritation. We enjoyed their observation deck to watch the big boys come and go."

Personal message from Mancow (popular Chicago radio personality):

"Being a news and talk show host in a major market keeps me very busy most of the year. When I truly want to get away and relax in tranquility, then Mary's Boon on the island of St. Maarten is the perfect spot. I have never found a better place in the world to enjoy the peacefulness of the hotel and the beach and yet be in the middle of the restaurant capital of the Caribbean. I look forward to my stay at Mary's Boon every year."
